04.10.2023 | Visa fees sharply increased by UK authorities

We would like to inform you that the fees charged by the UK visa authority UKVI and the UK visa center TLS have been increased exorbitantly. This price increase totals about 20% and comes into effect immediately.

In particular, we would like to point out that the fees for the Visa Center and the priority fee have been almost doubled by the authority. This drastic increase may affect your travel and visa application costs.

It is important that you take these new fees into consideration when applying for a visa to the United Kingdom!

24.04.2023 | New acceptance of UK tourist visa applications stopped

UPDATE 05.09.2023: The processing of UK tourist visas has been resumed!

Recent events such as the reopening of travel opportunities after the pandemic and the Brexit has led to a high volume of applications being received by Visas United. To cope with increased the demand we are temporarily accepting only a limited number of applications. This route has temporarily been closed and will be available once the workload is manageable. This affects only for TOURIST VISA. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

13.02.2023 | TLS visa center in Düsseldorf will move

The TLS Contact visa center in Düsseldorf is moving. As of March 3, 2023, the Visa Center will be located at the following address: Signature by Regus - Düsseldorf, Heinrich Heine - Breite Str. 3 - 40213 Düsseldorf - Floor 6.

Please note that there may be problems with appointment availability during the relocation of the Visacenter. This is a preliminary information based on our experience and does not correspond to any official information. Travelers with urgent travel needs may have to switch to the visa centers in Berlin or Munich.

Different types of visas for Great Britain


Business Visa

You intend to travel to the UK for short business visits. This includes meetings, visit trade fairs and deliver goods for example as a lorry driver.

ETA United Kingdom

Since 2023, a small number of citizens who were previously able to travel visa-free have had to apply for an electronic entry permit. Since 15 November 2023, it has initially applied to travelers from Qatar, and from 22 February 2024 also to travelers from six other countries in the Middle East: Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. For travelers from EU countries, including Germany, the obligation to obtain an electronic entry permit is not expected to be introduced until the end of 2024.
